Products and services

The range covers the screens and internals that process plants, water utilities and drilling contractors use most often.

  • Water well screens for tube wells, borewells and recharge wells, made to IS 8110:2019
  • Flat panels, false bottoms and support grids for lauter tuns, kiln floors and catalyst beds
  • Header and lateral assemblies, filter nozzles and resin traps for DM plants, softeners and condensate polishers
  • Sieve bends, centrifuge baskets, pressure screen baskets and screw press screens for sugar, mining, pulp and dewatering
  • Cylinders, screen tubes and outlet baskets for vessels and pipelines

On the screen itself we fabricate frames, flanges, end rings, housings and brackets, which allows us to supply finished products such as drainage grates, rooftop rainwater filters and walkway panels. The full range is set out under manufacturing capabilities.

Manufacturing

Profile wire is formed in house to SIMO profile codes, which fix the shape, head width and height of each wire, and is made and stocked by code. Wire and support rods are resistance welded at every intersection on high-frequency transformer machines.

Cylinders are wound on a rotating mandrel, while flat panels are usually cut from a welded cylinder and flattened. A fabrication bay and an inspection area complete the line at Butibori, described on the facility page.

Engineering approach

Most SIMO screens are engineered to order from the customer's process data, drawing or sample. Slot, profile wire, support rod, flow configuration and material are selected for the application, with CFD used for pressure drop prediction and FEA for structural validation where the design calls for them.

A general arrangement drawing is issued for approval before manufacture on every custom order. The method is described under custom engineering.

Quality and documentation

We work to an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Every product is supplied with a Mill Test Certificate and passes dimensional inspection against the approved drawing, and the standard slot tolerance of plus or minus 5 percent of nominal is stated on that drawing.

Dimensional inspection reports, quality assurance plans and other documents are supplied on request. Details are on the quality page.

Mission and vision

Our mission is to deliver precision-engineered wedge wire solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reliability and performance, through technical knowledge and manufacturing innovation.
